Helen Swaffield: background
Helen Swaffield has been a barrister since 1988. Her commercial experience has enabled her to work in chambers and in-house. Helen began in Temple, London, worked in-house and returned to Chambers 4 years ago, where she further developed a commercial, chancery and procurement practice. She now heads her own chambers: Contract Law Chambers, London specialising in contract and commercial disputes. She is often instructed by the public sector.
Helen began her role as a legal trainer in 1991. Since then, Helen has worked for leading firms, public bodies and international PLCs in setting up learning programmes and designing and delivering bespoke training. Helen and her associates currently train in a wide range of areas including, contract and commercial, litigation and procedure, drafting, negotiation and writing skills.
